MedeSim is a Qualiopi-certified training organisation (certificate no. 164776/r1, Apave Certification) for training actions.
Description: a three-day train-the-trainers course for healthcare professionals who want to run simulation sessions. It is highly interactive and based on practice: participants learn the principles of simulation, how to write and program scenarios, and how to lead debriefings.
Objectives: by the end of the course, participants are able to design a simulation scenario adapted to their learners, program it on a manikin, run the session safely, and lead a structured debriefing.
Prerequisites: none. The course is open to physicians, nurses, midwives, simulation technicians and any professional involved in healthcare simulation.
Teaching methods: in line with the recommendations of SoFraSimS (French Society for Healthcare Simulation), theory is kept short in favour of practice: video analysis, discussions, scenario writing, simulation and debriefing exercises.
Assessment: participants complete a pre-test and a post-test. Repeated simulation exercises provide formative assessment by peers and trainers. A delayed post-test is sent after the course to measure retention.
